REVIEWS FOR THE CAMPBELL
From the moment we arrived we were very impressed with the accommodation and commented that the photographs on the website didn't do the cottage justice.
After meeting Angela who was extremely welcoming and helpful, we were equally impressed with the added touches of toiletries, tea/coffee a bottle of wine and even a freshly home baked bread!
3 rooms, 3 flat screen tv's, DVD player sky etc etc.
Use of a full sized snooker table in excellent condition, table tennis and plenty of games.
The cottage had a wealth of information including maps and a book of useful local knowledge, the garden was great and secure for our border terrier, which is a challenge if you know border terriers!
We could not fault Campbell cottage and the position to The Cotswold Way for walking, and very close to Bath, all in all …….. superb and we would definitely visit again!
Great cottage, finally a terrier secure garden! Wonderful location and such a warm welcome from Angela. 10 out of 10!
Such generous and giving hosts - not just by the welcome arrival treats but by the way we were made so welcome, we felt like house guests - there was absolutely no ‘them and us’ and they generously shared their grounds with us for walks and exploring. The comfortable beds in the cottage face doors to the garden with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and countryside - so relaxing to wake up to and meant cool nights during a heatwave.
REVIEWS FOR THE AYLESBURY
It is so peaceful and quiet with lovely grounds to wander round. Owners were so nice and helpful Local pub 5mins from cottage is excellent. A brilliant base for lots of places to visit.. Bristol, Bath, Bradford on Avon., Devises and Caen locks to name a few. Two Nat Trust properties nearby which are really good. Dyrham Park and Lacock Abbey ad Village. Would highly recommend Aylesbury cottage.
It was even better than we had hoped for. The cottage was very well furnished, equipped and finished. Our hosts were great and there were a lot of little touches like the bottle of wine, bread, milk etc waiting for our arrival which made us feel very welcome. I would certainly recommend it to anyone and the location is perfect for visiting Bath and many other local attractions or just sitting in peaceful surroundings and unwinding, whatever you want from your holiday.
This cottage met all our expectations. It was beautifully presented with lots of little extras to make our stay that bit more special. The bed was comfy and and the shower was great. The whole cottage was spotlessly clean. Angela, our host was friendly and welcoming and we felt we were able to relax from the minute we arrived. We especially loved the games room and spent several evenings playing snooker/pool and table tennis which is surprisingly addictive. Hinton itself is a great base as it's close to Bath, Bristol and the coast. The local pub was just a couple of minutes walk away and served high quality food that we'd recommend. Would love to go again in the autumn/winter so we could light the fire. Highly recommended.
REVIEWS FOR THE STUDIOS
What an amazing studio! Highlights were the open fire place and couch in front of it, the powerful shower and beautiful location. The outbuildings are stunning, sitting around a lovely pond. We were there after the snow settled which added to the experience. Angela is lovely and incredibly attentive. Thank you, we will be back!
It's always a pleasure to stay at Angela's place. It suits me perfectly being quiet and away from it all, yet conveniently close to the motorway. It suits me as a place to relax after a day working but it would also be a great place to stay with a friend. I can highly recommend it.
We received a delightful welcome from Angela and found Drake Cottage to be warm and comfortable throughout our 3 night stay. There are good walks from the cottage and it is very easy to drive to Bristol and Bath to see the main attractions. We would certainly recommend Hinton Grange as great place to stay.
Angela and Rob are great hosts, they shared lots of information for walks and things to see in the area and were just lovely and helpful. The location is perfect, nice and quiet. The studio was very comfortable with everything you need and a great shower! There's a laundry and games room too, and the garden is lovely to walk around. Highly recommend and would love to come back again.
